It’s Officially Holiday-Binge Season!

The holiday season is all about cozying up with a blanket, hot cocoa, and a good show or movie. If you're looking for some festive fun, romance, and a little bit of drama, I’ve got the perfect picks for you! Here’s a list of my personal favorite TV shows and movies to watch this season.

First up is Dash & Lily, a limited Netflix series full of holiday adventures and romance. It follows two New Yorkers, Dash and Lily, as they exchange clues in a red notebook, leading each other on fun and exciting quests around the city that make you want to move there and experience that type of love. If you're in the mood for a untypical rom-com show, this one's for you.

Next, is obviously a nostalgic classic that takes you back to your belief in Santa days. Another New York City based holiday movie, Eloise at Christmastime is a must-watch. This story is about Eloise, a cheeky young girl living at the Plaza Hotel in NYC and how she helps two long-lost lovers rekindle their relationship. This movie will bring back sweet memories and keep you smiling from beginning to end.

We can’t forget about Manhattan’s most elite, Gossip Girl. This friend group (and families) knows exactly how to party and also how to cause a lot of drama during the holidays. I mean, what’s a perfect holiday without a little tension? Its New York City setting, stylish winter fashion, and plot twists make it ideal for binge-watching during the cold season.

Another New York moment for those who love a bit of romance. Serendipity is the ultimate holiday movie as it follows the story of two people who meet by chance and believe in fate. It’s the type of dreamy film that makes you giggle and kick your feet and wonder when you’ll meet your match. Whoever is in the mood for love and Christmas magic, I promise you’ll love this film.

Of course, no winter season is complete without Little Women. This timeless film captures the spirit of family, love, and sisterhood making it a heartwarming watch during the holidays. Traditions, romance, and moments shared among the March sisters make you want to go throw snowballs outside your cozy home with your friends and loved ones.

For the people who enjoy a love triangle a few different times, Emily in Paris brings that feeling of messing up feel like fun (sometimes). The men with accents, interesting fashion, and all around work and holiday celebrations makes you want to book a flight and live your European dream. While it’s not holiday-specific, the show’s overall vibe and beautiful winter scenes, especially in Season 4 make it the perfect escape to relax bundled up in your satin or flannel PJs and a fluffy blanket.

Whether you're in the mood for a feel-good story, some drama, or a classic romance, these shows and movies are a great way for you to unwind, enjoy the festive season, and pretend to experience some of these moments for yourself. Get ready for a holiday binge!
